Acupuncture Services
15 Minute Initial Consultation
You may choose to schedule a 15-minute initial consultation if you would like to learn more about acupuncture or how it can help you. This visit is for informational purposes only and no therapies are provided during this visit. This brief consultation is free of charge
First Visit $110
At your first full visit there will be a complete medical history intake which usually takes about 20 minutes to complete. In order to best understand your needs, we gather information about every aspect of your health. This creates a clear picture of how your body came to be imbalanced and how we can most effectively treat you.
After the intake you will receive a full acupuncture treatment as well as any other therapies that are appropriate for your diagnosis.
Return Visit $75
A typical acupuncture treatment session will include points on the limbs and torso, as well as hands and feet. Occasionally, moxibustion, a form of heat therapy, is used with the needles, and in some cases electrical stimulation is also applied.
Other potential treatments may include cupping, the use of small suction cups on the skin, or gua-sha, a friction technique that promotes circulation in the tissues. Herbal medicine and nutritional counseling may be suggested as well.
The choice of modalities depends on each individual's constitution and comfort level, as well as what is being treated.
About Fees and Insurance
As of March 2021, Brio acupuncture will no longer be billing insurance. In response to this change, we have lowered the fee for office visits.
We are happy to provide you with a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for reimbursement as outlined in your insurance plan.

During your treatment you may be prescribed an herbal formula that suits your current health picture. Chinese herbs are a powerhouse of healing and herbal consultations are offered as a stand-alone service as well.
